Chili films offers one-on-one training and script development workshops. We provide guidance and consultation on all stages of film development as well as securing investment, distribution and network partnerships.

We support individuals to reach their potential and achieve their intended business and filmmaking objectives. We offer mentoring at any career stage to filmmakers.

CEO Penelope McDonald has taught film and media studies, including documentary and screenwriting, at multiple local and prestigious national universities. Penelope has an intimate knowledge of the Indigenous screen sector in Australia, having worked with many Indigenous filmmakers. She has been a board member of Centralian Senior College, the Australian Film Television and Radio School, and the Australian International Documentary Conference. She is currently the chair of Red Hot Arts Central Australia.

We also have a range of equipment filmmakers can use to upskill as well as rent.
